Introduction: The system supports sub-account permission management, enabling the main account to assign different permission levels to sub-accounts, including designating sub-accounts as admins. Admins can manage several sub-accounts assigned by the main account. With a sub-account, you can add your staff with permission to log in to your BigSeller account and help you manage your stores.

1. [New] Features of Admin Account

This function supports sub-account(admins) to create new roles, and allows the main account transfering management permissions to them. Admins can manage sub-accounts they create or transfer, but can only assign store permissions within their scope. The permission hierarchy is as follows: Main Account > Admin > Sub-account.

1.1 How to create an admin account?

Before create an admin account, a role is needed by configuring the required set of permissions within the roles created, users can quickly assign permissions to sub-accounts. Go to Setting->Sub-Account Settings->Roles, set a role and grant permission to this role.

💡Please note: Only the role is permitted to Settings->Sub-Account Settings can become an Admin.


1.2 How to assign Admin to other sub-account?

a. Create a sub-account

Once an Admin role is created, next is to create a sub-account. Go to Setting->Sub-Account Settings->Sub-Accounts




b. Bind Sub-Account

Bind Admin: Bind this sub-account under an Admin, please note the selected admin will have permission to manage this sub-account. The admin’s permissions must be higher than those of the sub-account.

Unbind Admin: Unbind the admin from this sub-account, after unbinding, the admin will no longer manage this sub-account.


If no other sub-account has higher authority than this sub-account (Roles, Stores, Warehouses, Products). It will fail to bind to an admin.

2.1 Create a role

Before create a sub-account, a role is needed by configuring the required set of permissions within the roles created.

2.2 Create a sub-account

Users can set permissions for the sub-account that  by assigning the roles you created before.

3. Manage sub-accounts and roles

3.1 Manage Roles

Filter options: Bind Sub-accounts and Role Name
Role Name: It shows the Admin Identifier if the account is assigned as an Admin.
Sub-Account Binding Status:
Foll
ow the filter status.

3.2 Manage Sub-accounts

Filter options: Admin Identity, All Roles and All Admins

Admin identity: A sub-account with a management role is designated as an admin. Admins cannot be bound to a higher-level account.When entering the admin edit page, the account will display the admin identifier.

Role setting: Only permissions owned by the admin can be selected. To add other permissions, please unbind the admin or grant the required permissions to the admin.
Admin: It shows the corresponding higher-level admin, who has the authority to manage the sub-account.

4. Store Authorization: Set Permissions

Please note: A sub-account can only be granted permissions within the scope of its assigned admin. Any permissions outside the admin's scope must first be assigned to the admin by the main account, after which the admin can authorize the sub-account. Alternatively, the admin can be unbound.
