How to Create POS Retail Orders (BigSeller APP)

This feature allows you to easily create POS retail orders directly from the mobile app for a more efficient and convenient process.
 
Note: When both wholesale and customer-tiered price ranges are set, the system will automatically display the sales price after you select an SKU, following this priority: Manual Price Input > Customer-Tiered Price > Wholesale Price

1. Steps to Create POS Orders Using BigSeller APP

Step 1: Navigate to the POS Retail Order Creation page

Step 2: Fill in Sales Information



If "Offer delivery services" is checked, the order will move to the New Orders list for delivery after settlement. If unchecked, the order will go directly to the Completed list after settlement.

  • If you wish to process the order through the regular order flow, please enable the deliver service. The order will enter the "New" status, and you will need to pack and ship the orders.
  • If you only need to record the inventory deduction, you can leave the shipping service disabled. Once the order is created, it will be marked as "Completed”, and the inventory will be deducted.

The payment method will be displayed in the order processing list.



 

2. How to Print POS Receipts Using Bluetooth Printers?

You can use the Bluetooth printer function on the POS Order page in the BigSeller App to print POS receipts. This feature is designed for offline retail scenarios, allowing you to quickly print receipts after checkout without using a computer.
 
  • Supported Printers: Currently, the feature works with major Bluetooth thermal printers in Southeast Asia, such as: Epson TM-T88VII, GPrinter GP-58, XPrinter XP-58IIH.
    If you encounter any connection issues with your device, please contact our customer support.
Note: All supported printers use the ESC/POS communication protocol. Once connected, they can be used immediately without installing additional drivers.


Steps to Use

Step 1: Connect the Printer

1) Open BigSeller App > System Settings > Hardware



2) Add Bluetooth Printer, search for and connect to your device.

 


Step 2: Set Printing Preferences

1) Configure the receipt format (50mm or 80mm)


2) Quick Print
 

  • If Quick Print is enabled: the receipt will print automatically after clicking “Settlement”
  • If Quick Print is not enabled: after clicking Settlement,” a pop-up will appear allowing you to select the print method and preview before printing


Step 3: Print the Receipt

Once connected, the system will automatically execute the printing operation according to your settings after the order settlement.

 
 

3. Automatic Cash Drawer Trigger for POS [NEW]

BigSeller APP POS system now supports automatic cash drawer triggering. This feature allows your cash drawer to open automatically upon completing a transaction, provided it is correctly linked to your receipt printer.

1) Receipt Printing Compatibility

Before setting up the cash drawer, please ensure your receipt printer is compatible based on the following scenarios:

  • Scenario 1 (Bluetooth): Printer connected to a Mobile device (iOS/Android) or PC via Bluetooth.

  • Scenario 2 (Wired): Printer connected to a PC via USB/LAN cable.

Note: Receipt printing is not supported when a wired printer is connected directly to a mobile device.

2) Cash Drawer Trigger Setup

To enable the automatic pop-up, your cash drawer must be physically connected to the printer’s RJ11/RJ12 port. The trigger functionality depends on the following connection setups:

Scenario A: Mobile App via Bluetooth

  • Connection Path: Cash Drawer → (LAN/RJ11 Port) → Bluetooth Receipt Printer → (Bluetooth) → BigSeller APP.

  • How it works: When the BigSeller APP sends a print command via Bluetooth, the printer simultaneously sends a pulse signal to trigger the cash drawer.

Scenario B: POS Terminal / PC Connection

  • Connection Path: Cash Drawer → (LAN/RJ11 Port) → Bluetooth or Wired Printer → POS Terminal (Cash Register).

  • How it works: This setup is ideal for fixed retail stations. The printer acts as the bridge between the BigSeller interface on your register and the physical cash drawer.
