Method 1: Move

  1. Precondition: Requires enabling Unstored Inventory Management, which will generate unstored quantity.
  2. Use Cases:
    1. Ideal for bulk movement of inventory.
    2. Used for long-distance moves or moving items across different floors.
    3. When new shelves are added to the warehouse and SKUs need to be moved from old shelves to the new ones.
  3. Task-Based: Tasks must be created on the PC side in advance, specifying the original shelf, target shelf, and quantity. Tasks are then assigned to operators.
  4. Supported Warehouse Types:
    1. One SKU One Shelf
    2. Warehouse with Pick & Store Zoning

Method 2: Restock

  1. Precondition: Requires enabling Unstored Inventory Management, which will generate unstored quantity.
  2. Use Case: Replenishing picking shelves from storage shelves.
  3. Task-Based:Tasks are automatically generated by the system and need to be assigned to an operator.
  4. Supported Warehouse Type: Warehouse with Pick & Store Zoning

Method 3: Off Shelf & On Shelf

  1. Precondition: Requires enabling Unstored Inventory Management, which will generate whole warehouse unstored quantity.
  2. Use Cases:
    1. During sales events, move best-selling items closer to the packing area for faster picking.
    2. Day-to-day reorganization of SKU storage.
    3. Proactive replenishment: move SKUs from storage to picking areas before stock runs low.
  3. Self-Initiated: No task creation required. No need to specify source shelf, target shelf, or move quantity in advance.
  4. Supported Warehouse Types:
    1. One SKU One Shelf
    2. Warehouse with Pick & Store Zoning

Method 4: Shelf Change

  1. Precondition: Does not require enabling Unstored Inventory Management. No unstored quantity will be generated.
  2. Use Cases:
    1. Suitable for small-quantity, quick shelf movements.
    2. For new SKUs, quickly assign shelf locations after being placed on the default shelf.
  3. Self-Initiated: No need to create tasks in advance or specify shelf details or move quantity.
  4. Supported Warehouse Types:
