There are many shipping channels on Shopee you can select to provide to your buyers. For the virtual products that don't need shipping, or other products that need special shipping, for example, frozen food, you need to apply Non-Shopee Supported Logistics Shipping Channels (or Non-SSL).



 

What is Non-SSL?

There are two types of shipping options in Shopee, Shopee supported logistics (SSL) and Non-Shopee supported logistics (Non-SSL). SSL are 3rd-party logistic partners integrated with Shopee, they can provide reliable shipping service to Shopee buyers. Non-SSL means the Shopee sellers can select their own logistics, no need to use the logistics Shopee provided.

Non-SSL for Shopee Malaysia includes Others (West Malaysia) and Others (East Malaysia). You are available to use Others logistics after application successfully. Shopee will not calculate the shipping fees for you automatically, you need to negotiate with other logistics and manually input the shipping fees to your products. Besides, you need to enter the tracking info yourself if you ship packages to your buyers with other shipping channels.


 

How to apply Non-SSL?

Shopee Non-SSL application is necessary to use other logistics, and it may be a long process, because you need to submit an application via the form here to the Shopee team and get approved by Shopee. 
To be able to use Non-SSL shipping options, you need to provide valid reasons, including but not limited to the following:
1. You have your own delivery options
2. You are using other shipping options, because the Shopee supported logistics can’t ship the products you sell on Shopee, for example, bulky items, fresh goods, or frozen food.
3. What you are selling on Shopee is virtual products and don’t need the physical shipping, for example, tickets or vouchers.

But if you are not using the above-mentioned reasons, you may be refused by Shopee and you can only use Shopee supported logistics. 

 

Maintain high level service standard

For the sellers who are approved to use Non-SSL shipping options, Shopee also asks you to maintain high level of service standards. Please note that if you don’t meet these standards or you have no Non-SSL orders in 60 days, you will be removed from Non-SSL. The service standards are including but not limited to the following:
1. Same order quantity for Non-SSL
2. High product ratings for Non-SSL products
3. Low return/refund rates
4. You need to provide the proof delivery when there is any shipping disputes

You need to also maintain a high level service standards for Non-SSL, or you will be removed from Non-SSL.
